Jennifer T. Gatt, Ph.D.

Dr. Gatt is an Arizona licensed psychologist specializing in children, adolescents and young adults presenting with academic/occupational, social, psychological or adaptive functioning concerns. Dr. Gatt received her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Arizona State University, after which she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology. Her early experience as a school psychologist and subsequent specialization in neuropsychology have led to a broad understanding of educational and medical models.

The focus of Dr. Gatt’s work is obtaining a clinical understanding of the presenting condition and then creating a “roadmap” for parents to pursue interventions both privately and within the school setting. Her goal is to provide evaluations that are comprehensive based on each child’s needs and convey the clinical findings to families using understandable language in a comfortable forum. Dr. Gatt has enjoyed helping students of all ages understand their strengths and potential while also advocating for the accommodations needed in order to help them be successful.

Throughout her career Dr. Gatt has been hired to share her knowledge with public and private schools and families regarding documentation and accommodations for the SAT, ACT, GRE, LSAT, and many other professional tests. Dr. Gatt also serves as a consultant to several educational institutions and lectures on child development, learning disabilities and behavior disorders. She has been involved in various professional and community organizations and has served as the treasurer of the Arizona Neuropsychological Society.

Special interests include early intervention, learning and processing disorders, “underachieving students,” autism spectrum disorders, mood disorders and attention/regulation deficits. Dr. Gatt regularly mentors and supervises doctoral students within her practice from surrounding universities.
